The Last Outpost of Common Sense

Just completed another successful (no loss of life or limbs) season at Philmont Scout Ranch. Sitting in the train station in Raton, New Mexico with a group of fellow Rangers. Four waiting for the Westbound, myself and two others waiting for the Eastbound. Dave Kinnard uncases his guitar and we all join in for our rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Homeward Bound”. Those were the days.
