Every President inherits a dangerous and uncertain world, and the stakes are always high. Donald Trump rests his hands upon the globe as he speaks with the Presidents who came before him about America’s place in it. Around them are quiet reminders of what has endured: the Constitution on the wall, a church bell in the distance, and a single candle burning for the value of every human life. As the light of heaven warms the room, they are reminded that America has never faced its greatest trials alone—and that with courage, faith, and God’s help, it can continue to be a blessing to the world.
